Understanding a Near Death Experience

Some people easily accept Near Death Experiences (NDEs) as real; other—at least at first—are likely to be very skeptical. This interesting CareNote presents a framework for interpreting without taking a stand on the cause or meaning of these experiences. The first section presents general background on NDEs; the rest offer suggestions for responding, addressed to a person who has had the Near Death Experience, but designed to inform and support that person’s loved ones as well.
